An award-winning playwright, Pam’s play "Casserole" was one of six winners in the 2020 national competition sponsored by the American Association of Community Theatre. Her play “Eating Blackberries” was one of six winners out of more than 350 entries in another AACT national competition in 2024. Those plays are available through the Dramatic Publishing Company. An earlier play “Snowfall” won the New Works Festival at the Henegar Center in Melbourne, Florida.
Earlier, she was the theater critic and arts writer for 25 years at Florida Today newspaper on Florida’s “Space Coast.” She served on the American Theatre Critics Association’s Steinberg/ATCA New Play Award committee.
Pam was also the resident director for the inaugural season of Theatre on the Edge, awarded Best New Theater Company by the Orlando Weekly. She also directed dramas at the Henegar Center in Melbourne, Florida. Currently, she directs original comedies for the South Beach Players. Additionally, she ran the Junior Theatre Workshop which she started at the 13th Street Theatre in New York City and moved it to the Space Coast when her family relocated. She has also written numerous children’s plays.
